Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Physical Health Psychology Service. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working in stroke and neuro rehabilitation, either in a training or qualified post.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex conditions. This will involve:

  • Conducting neuropsychological testing and interpreting results
  • Developing and implementing highly specialist psychological therapy plans
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Providing leadership and supervision to junior staff

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status
  • Experience of working in a physical health setting, preferably in stroke and neuro rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
