Job Title: Chief of Staff to the CEO

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to support the CEO of Coventry & Warwickshire Integrated Care Board in delivering their responsibilities and strategic agenda.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic support to the CEO in leading the Office of the Chief Executive and enabling them to fulfill their responsibilities as Accountable Officer.
  • Act as counsel and advisor to the CEO, providing tactical support in managing high-level risks to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the CEO's direct communication and external engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, briefing notes, and presentations for and on behalf of the CEO and Chair of the ICB to enable the progression of their priorities across complex agendas.
  • Lead on complex, highly sensitive projects involving multiple organizations, both internally and externally, and turn insight and innovation into the ICB's Strategic Direction development.

  • Evidence of strong continuing personal and professional development
  • Significant senior management experience in an ICB or similar complex organization with comparable scope, responsibilities, budget, and resources
  • Ability to understand the impact of regulatory frameworks and statutory regulations on an organization's functioning
