Job Title: Autism Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:
  • Provide individual and group support to students with autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs).
  • Assist students in navigating daily routines, including classroom activities and transitions.
  • Apply effective behavior management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with autism or special educational needs is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
