Job Title: Autism Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism in both one-on-one and group environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with autism in individual and group settings.
  • Facilitate students' engagement with classwork and daily activities.
  • Apply effective strategies to manage and guide student behavior.
  • Help students navigate and manage their daily schedules.
  • Partner with colleagues to create and implement Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs).

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with autism is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency in behavior management techniques is important.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
