Advanced Clinical Practitioner Opportunity in Emergency Department

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join its Emergency Department team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working under supervision to assess, examine, diagnose, and treat patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations.

You will be responsible for managing patients within your own caseload, supervising junior team members, and contributing to the development of the Emergency Department. To support your growth as an autonomous practitioner, you will have the opportunity to undertake an MSc in Advanced Practice at a designated University.

Key responsibilities include assessing and prioritizing patients, working across various areas of the Emergency Department, and providing advanced and comprehensive assessments based on a specialist body of knowledge. You will also be expected to supervise the clinical duties and development of junior team members.
