About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in pre-hospital care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Main Duties

As a Pre-Hospital Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for completing a transition to practice course, followed by an ePortfolio of capability, which will include evidence from across your clinical experience. You will also be required to complete ambulance aid skills training and further consolidation of pre-hospital competencies.

EEAST employs over 5,000 staff and 1,000+ volunteers who cover 7,500 square miles and care for a population of more than 6 million. We manage a fleet of over 1,000 vehicles, including double-staffed ambulances, rapid response cars, and patient transport vehicles.

Person Specification

  • Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • Hold a Full UK manual driving licence for 12 months
  • C1 category license to be obtained within 6 months of joining EEAST
  • Mentorship qualification or willingness to obtain within the first 12 months
  • Pediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) or equivalent

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £60 to £44,962 per annum, as well as a range of benefits, including a £500 payment in the first month's pay, a further payment of £750 after 12 months in post, and a further payment of £750 after 24 months in post.
