Job Title: Chief Risk Officer - Risk Management Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Risk Officer to join our team at Das Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing second-line assurance to the group for all risk management-related topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide risk-focused advice and information into the setting and individual application of the firm's remuneration policy
  • Ensure that the data used by the firm to assess its risks are fit for purpose in terms of quality, quantity, and breadth
  • Provide oversight and challenge of the firm's systems and controls in respect of risk management
  • Provide oversight and validation of the firm's internal and external reporting of risk and controls
  • Ensure the adequacy of risk information, risk analysis, and risk training provided to members of the firm's governing body

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of the PRA, FCA, EIOPA, and associated regulators' approach to Risk, as well as Solvency II and its implementation in the UK and best practice risk approaches
  • Ability to express independent thought in a constructive way, and work constructively with Group Risk management, Internal audit, Compliance, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Finance
  • Ability to analyse data and justify conclusions
  • Dip IRM (Institute of Risk Management) or equivalent level of education/industry experience
  • Experience coaching and developing a high-performing team and delivering training
