Sales and Business Development Manager

At Integral UK, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on the status of quotes, providing accurate information to account co-ordinators for customer reports. You will work in collaboration with account co-ordinators to improve quality and timeliness of quote submissions, and work in collaboration with operational teams to increase engineer lead generation & quality of information.
Key Responsibilities:- Producing quotations for remedial works, and issue to the Customer.
- Generating contract renewal proposals to retain existing Customers.
- Chasing outstanding remedial quotes and renewals to improve conversation rates.
- Revising and re-issuing any rejected quotes on customer portals.
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure best value costings are achieved.
- Providing Customer support and responding to queries related to remedial quotations and contract renewals.
- Actioning all Customer queries and requests in a timely manner, escalating as required.
- Liaising efficiently with Customers, Service Engineers and the wider H&K Team.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of all relevant IT systems.
- Ensuring adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimise conversions and margins.
- Proven sales experience in the fire engineering industry with a good understanding of fire engineering service contracts.
- Experience of developing service quotations/bids.
- Understanding of construction programs, building regulations, and fire industry standards and legislation.
- Creative in approach with the ability to maintain and develop positive customer relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable numerical skills.
- Ideally will have performed a similar sales/estimating role within the fire protection industry.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
- Can demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and efficiency.
- Proven IT skills with experience of MS office packages.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as an effective team player in a close knit and highly successful team.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with the natural ability to engage with customers/clients representing Hall & Kay professionally and positively.
- Experience in dealing with end users, insurers and Main Contractors.
- Competitive and negotiable salary depending on experience.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy 5 days and sell 2 days.
