Lead Ruby Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Ruby Software Architect to join our team at Oho Group. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of our flagship product and leading a team of software developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of our geospatial data and web-based mapping tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and growth
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and best practices
  • Mentor and lead a team of software developers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Ruby development
  • Strong experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), ArcGIS, and QGIS
  • Experience with Web Mapping experience (PostGIS, CartoDB)
  • Experience using GIT/ Version Control
  • Experience with leading technical teams
  • Experience with JavaScript and Front End Development
  • Experience with updating software and database versions on Unix-based systems
