About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Stir, a leading school catering company. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing catering operations for a region of Primary & Secondary school contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Ensure that all services are adhered to, delivered, and where possible enhanced to meet and exceed the clients', customers', and company expectations.
  • Team Management: Manage the teams to ensure a consistently fantastic dining experience for students and staff in line with company standards.
  • Performance Management: Continually review the performance of each contract and their profitability.
  • Cost Control: Ensure costs are controlled while ensuring the highest level of service quality and delivery.
  • Food Quality: Ensure that food is of the highest standard and in line with the current high street trends.
  • Compliance: Manage and support the development, progress, and performance of all line reporting managers, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in managing and developing teams, preferably in the catering industry.
  • Positive Leadership: A natural positive leader who can demonstrate great teamwork.
  • Client Relationship Management: Client relationship management experience.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
  • HR Experience: Experience dealing with HR matters, ie grievances & performance.
  • IT Knowledge: Sound IT knowledge and experience in using different programmes.
  • Driving License: Full clean driving licence.
