Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Catering Team Leader at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. We are seeking a friendly and approachable leader who can provide a high-quality service to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of catering staff to deliver a high-quality, flexible, and efficient customer-focused service.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the catering facility, including stock control and budget management.
  • Deputize for other departmental colleagues to maintain the Hotel Service function in their absence.
  • Train, supervise, and develop the catering staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to carry out their daily activities.
  • Induct and train new staff, and complete annual appraisals for all staff.
  • Compile duty rotas, holiday entitlement, and allocate work within the team to maintain the service within budget and facilitate the smooth running of the department.
