About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pay and Reward Manager to join our team at HM Treasury-1. As a key member of our People and Capability Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our reward strategy, ensuring that our pay and reward policies align with our departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the annual pay and reward initiatives, including the implementation of pay awards for delegated and Senior Civil Servant staff.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing pay and reward policies to complement strategic departmental objectives.
  • Manage critical pay datasets to inform strategic reward decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-departmental and other government department colleagues to share expertise and bring in insight for pay and reward project implementation.
  • Act as an escalation point for resolving complex casework queries, ensuring our approach is evidence-based and consistent with policy and best practice.

About You

You will work closely with the Head of Pay Delivery and Implementation to develop our reward strategy, supporting the delivery of annual pay cycles and leading reward projects across the department. If you have experience in working in a pay or reward function, either with operational service delivery or developing pay and reward strategies, we'd love to hear from you.
