Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team working on housing and commercial projects. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a large team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, and ideally 2391 (Inspection and Testing).
  • Experience: Proven experience in maintenance within housing and commercial environments, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and regulations.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work 6 Saturdays per year, compensated at an overtime rate, and participate in a 1 in 6 on-call rota, with a call-out fee of £250 per week in addition to base pay.

Compensation

  • Temporary Position: Competitive hourly rate during the initial 12 weeks.
  • Permanent Package (upon confirmation): £37,500 per annum.
