Electrical Property Inspector Role

About the Job

Lorien is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Property Inspector to join their team. As an Electrical Property Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical elements of the organization's non-housing property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with electrical systems and components.
  • Perform repairs and minor planned works to electrical systems and components.
  • Provide high-quality client services and customer-focused electrical inspectorate services.
  • Ensure that statutory requirements and policies related to construction, inspection, and maintenance are effectively and accurately complied with.

Requirements

  • Hold an appropriate construction or services-related HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the electrical services industry within the commercial services sector, preferably with practical site experience.
  • Have knowledge of current and relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Possess good communication and negotiating skills.
  • Be mobile throughout the Falkirk area.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Contract management experience.
  • A current driving license.
  • Membership of a relevant trade body.
  • Additional relevant training and experience.
  • Corporate membership.
  • Knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
  • Proficient use of IT software such as CAFM systems, maintenance works ordering, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
