Job Description

**Electrical Property Inspector Role**

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Property Inspector to join our team at ASA Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems of our clients' properties are safe and compliant with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Develop and implement plans for electrical system maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with our clients' management teams to understand their electrical system needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide expert advice on electrical system design, installation, and maintenance to ensure the highest level of safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical services industry, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Knowledge of current and relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Appropriate construction or services-related qualification, such as a HNC or equivalent.
  • Proficient use of IT software, including CAFM systems, maintenance work ordering, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations (desirable).
  • Contract management experience (desirable).
  • Corporate membership (desirable).
