This Personal Support Specialist Position is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Completely Care in Caldicot. As a skilled Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to service users, promoting their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care, assisting with daily tasks such as personal care and meal times.
- Build strong relationships with service users, providing companionship and emotional support.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and documents, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one, demonstrating your commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
- At least 6 months' experience in health and social care, showcasing your knowledge and skills in delivering person-centred care.
- A practical manual handling certificate, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of care.
- Medication training, enabling you to administer medication effectively.
