About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Rainbow Trust Children. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing practical goods and services, applying for grants and benefits, and working with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment, or funds for families that we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and coordinating practical goods and services for families in need
  • Applying for grants and benefits to support families
  • Building and maintaining relationships with other charities and community providers
  • Working collaboratively with health, education, and social care professionals to ensure families receive the support they need

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a charity environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Confident MS Office user
