About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Biffa. As a key member of our National Bulk Liquid business, you will be responsible for driving significant top-line growth and identifying new business opportunities.

Working closely with our General Manager Tankers and other commercial teams, you will be expected to bring a strong commercial knowledge of the waste sector and a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing new business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities for the National Bulk Liquid offering
  • Proactively sell profitable new business in line with operating areas of strength
  • Develop and manage a detailed new business pipeline to provide a clear business forecast of expected volumes and sales revenues
  • Produce regular activity and pipeline reporting to give commercial and operational stakeholders visibility of current activity and forecast new activity
  • Work closely with the General Manager Tankers to drive a growth strategy aligned with the needs of the business
  • Maintain data within the business CRM platform to enable effective marketing campaigns
  • Liaise regularly with other commercial functions to share pipelines and best practice
