We are a 4 GP partner practice with a friendly and supportive team. Our nursing team is fully committed to providing excellent healthcare to our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced primary care receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient reception and telephone service.

Main Duties

The main duties of the job include:

  • Processing appointment requests on Ask My GP
  • Providing administrative support to the practice team
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to patient queries

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive on variety. Knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A good standard of education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment
