Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced primary care receptionist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient reception and telephone service.

Main Duties

The main duties of the job include:

  • Processing appointment requests on Ask My GP
  • Providing an excellent patient experience
  • Supporting the nursing team in providing excellent healthcare to our patients
  • Performing other administrative duties as required

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work in a variable and demanding role. Knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage, but full training will be provided. The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check and satisfactory probationary period.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A good standard of education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of EMIS (desirable)
