Student Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Behavioural Liaison Officer to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Newham. As a key member of the behavioural team, you will work closely with students, teachers and other staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
About the Role- Work collaboratively with the leadership team and behavioural support staff to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
- Monitor attendance, behaviour and progress of students, identifying concerns and risks that may impact their well-being or academic success
- Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents to promote a culture of respect and inclusion
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people who exhibit challenging behaviour, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and committed to supporting them to achieve their full potential.
