Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Remedy Education. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and other Special Educational Needs.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, such as Special Needs, Psychology, or Education. Prior experience working with children is preferred but not essential. You should possess a sound knowledge of Special Educational Needs and be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting students in developing their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Collaborating with the class teacher, SENCO, and multidisciplinary professionals to monitor student progress.
- Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Supporting students across various year groups with diverse needs.
