Job Description: Autonomous Driving Expert

We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our team as an Autonomous Driving Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research activities in the area of autonomous vehicles, with a focus on human-centred settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human-centred AI methods for autonomous vehicles, including shared autonomy and autonomous operation in crowded urban environments
  • Conduct experiments and evaluate the performance of developed systems
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop field robotics systems and report on project progress
  • Communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing

Qualifications:

  • PhD (or near completion) in AI and/or robotics, with a focus on autonomous vehicles applications
  • Excellent track record of publications in top-tier journals and/or conferences in AI and allied areas
  • Proven experience of developing field robotics systems
