Job Summary

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk Manager to join our team at Army Headquarters. As a key member of our Cyber and Security team, you will play a critical role in protecting the UK against external and internal cyber threats.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in cyber security and risk management. You will work closely with our team to identify and mitigate cyber risks, and develop strategies to improve our cyber security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of cyber risk management strategies and policies
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior leaders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and trends, and provide guidance to the team on best practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cyber risk management and security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards, such as NIST CSF
