CWP Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Child Wellbeing Practitioner in the Mental Health Support Team. This is a training position that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in child and adolescent mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Work with children, young people, and their parents/carers to support self-management and develop plans for specific interventions and agreed outcomes.
- Manage own caseload and gain the necessary skills to practice a range of interventions, including guided self-help.
- Prepare and present caseload information to supervisors.
- Work with colleagues to provide better access to specialist mental health services and support referrals where required.
- Support colleagues in community and schools to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related subject, or any subject with further training or experience in a relevant field.
- Relevant professional experience in CYP Mental Health/Education/Mentorship.
- Ability to study at degree level.
- Proven record of previous academic attainment.
- Successfully secured a training place on the CWP course at KCL (CYP MH Child Wellbeing Practice PG Dip).
