Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our Computing team as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of computing courses at different levels, from SCQF level 5 to SCQF level 8.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality learning and teaching materials
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

  • Qualification to degree level in a Computing discipline that includes programming and software development
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well with different student groups
  • Excellent digital skills and knowledge of software development
