About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our team of experts in the Highways sector, working collaboratively with National Highways (formerly Highways England) and Local Authority clients across the country. Our portfolio of road projects has seen us become one of the industry's leading players in this area.
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to drive success and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities- To manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to achieve project objectives.
- To develop and implement effective project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion and optimal resource allocation.
- To maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaborative teamwork.
- To identify and mitigate risks, addressing any issues promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- To monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
- A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the Highways or construction sector.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including MS Project, Primavera, and Excel.
Galliford Try offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
