Job Title: Head of Finance

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Finance to join our team at SRA. As a key member of our corporate functions, you will be responsible for leading our finance function and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance function, including transaction management, financial accounting and control, business partnering, and management accounting.
  • Oversee the production of statutory and management accounts, maintenance and monitoring of internal controls, and treasury management.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, ensuring compliance with financial governance and risk management requirements.
  • Drive business partnering, working with business leaders and budget holders to provide them with the skills and tools to take strategic financial decisions.

Requirements:
  • An experienced manager of a finance function, ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
  • Excellent people development and coaching skills.
  • A qualified accountant.
  • A business partnering mindset.
  • Experience in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to liaise with both finance and non-finance literate professionals.
