Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Planner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Planner to join our team at AECOM. As a Senior Infrastructure Planner, you will be responsible for leading and assisting in the successful delivery of major development applications and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across various project types.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leading and assisting in the successful delivery of major development applications
* Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across various project types
* Providing planning advice to colleagues and clients on planning consent requirements and the application of permitted development rights
* Leading on the production of planning feasibility reports and consent strategies
* Writing Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements for development applications
* Leading, submitting and managing planning applications including leading liaison and negotiation with local planning authorities and other key stakeholders
* Working closely with the Environmental Impact Assessment team
* Contributing to business development in one or more market sectors, including sector strategy, and identifying opportunities and developing client relationships
* Leading and contributing to the preparation of successful commercial tenders
* Project management and implementing quality and health and safety principles

Requirements:

* Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation
* Demonstrable and relevant experience of leading planning applications, including infrastructure development
* Client focus, with good interpersonal skills and collaborative working approach
* High level of commitment to quality
* Commercial awareness and experience of project / budget management
* Experience of contributing to bids or planning services procurement
* Ability to write clearly and concisely
* Ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure
* Competence in Microsoft Office
