About the Job

Candidate Information - CV-Library is recruiting for an ICT Technician to work in Oxford, Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for IT hardware and services across school sites in Oxfordshire.

This role requires the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, as well as installing and repairing computers with standardized applications and networking software.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within education, and possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to users, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
  2. Hardware Installation/Repair: Install and repair computers with standardized applications and networking software.
  3. Network and Desktop Services: Complete technical tasks related to computer networks and desktop services, including installations and upgrades.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of similar experience, ideally within education.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Application Knowledge: High-level knowledge of common user applications and skilled in using Office 365.
