At Medacs, we are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist Physician to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work closely with our healthcare staff to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages.

Salary: £110-£130 per hour, negotiable based on experience

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and monitoring, ensuring the best possible outcomes
  • Conduct research to improve surgical techniques and equipment, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge
  • Train and educate junior doctors and medical students, promoting excellence in clinical practice
  • Maintain accurate records and administer prescriptions, ensuring seamless treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience at Consultant level or references supporting transition to Consultant level
  • Evidence of Right to Work in the UK (Medacs cannot offer visa sponsorship)
  • Enhanced DBS clearance required
