We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring that it is presented in a visually appealing way.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring that all stock is stored and managed efficiently.
- Represent Chartwells - Schools in a professional and positive manner, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays.
- Desire to succeed in the role, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
