School Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and are of the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring that all stock is stored and rotated correctly.
- Represent Chartwells - Schools in a professional and positive manner, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
- Comply with all relevant legislation and company policies, including food handling and hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Be an excellent team player, with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Have a committed and organized approach, with a desire to succeed in your role.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Be flexible to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
