Job Title: Commercial Contracts Manager

Join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting as a Commercial Contracts Manager, where you will play a key role in leading our commercial team and overseeing the interpretation, management, and enforcement of both new and existing contracts.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing commercial contracts and ensuring the contract appraisal process is administered correctly to protect the company
  • Producing documents, reports, and briefings for clients and internal management
  • Reviewing progress and budget of projects on a monthly basis
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks
  • Providing contractual advice during the tendering process up until project completion
  • Managing accounts and credit control to a high degree of commercial awareness
  • Managing mediation and adjudication claims
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within construction management and/or M&E/sprinkler works
  • Contract understanding and interpretation
  • Proficient understanding of legal matters and the Construction Act
