About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our Pre-Treatment team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting technical developments and ensuring the highest possible standard of care for patients with cancer.

The successful candidate will have significant postgraduate experience with relevant specialist training and knowledge and experience as a Band 6 Radiographer. You will be responsible for the acquisition of high-quality pre-treatment images, while minimizing patient dose. You will also be expected to work flexibly in a variety of situations and participate in shift work as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist clinical training and undertake presentations within the department and nationally in conferences and workshops.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and promote best practice in radiotherapy pre-treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality patient care and promote technical developments.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent formal qualification.
  • Health Profession Council (HPC) registration as a Therapy or Nuclear Medicine Radiographer.
  • Significant postgraduate experience with relevant specialist training and knowledge and experience as a Band 6 Radiographer.
