About the Role
Coram is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to become an Independent Visitor for children in care. As an Independent Visitor, you will form a positive and supportive relationship with a child or young person, helping to build their confidence and self-esteem.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a regular and reliable visiting routine with your assigned child or young person.
- Engage in activities and outings that are of interest to the child or young person, such as sports, hobbies, or days out.
- Provide emotional support and a listening ear to the child or young person.
- Respect the child or young person's boundaries and individual needs.
Requirements
- Be a reliable and consistent individual who can commit to regular visits.
- Have a genuine interest in working with children and young people.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality and respect the child or young person's privacy.
