Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to children and young people, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
  • Offer one-to-one support to individuals, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals.
  • Support children and young people in the community, promoting independence and inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a support work or care environment.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training, including Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention, Equality and Diversity, and Autism training.
  • Safeguarding training is essential.
  • Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 (desirable but not essential).
