Senior Legal Secretary Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join our Restructuring team in Birmingham City Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of secretaries, managing the file opening process, and providing administrative support to our partner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of 2/3 secretaries, ensuring efficient workflow coordination and providing support
  • Work closely with the Restructuring partner to deliver high-quality senior legal secretarial duties
  • Manage the file opening process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Be the first point of contact for clients and administrative support requirements
  • Assist with financial transactions, drafting and formatting letters, documents, and forms
  • Proactively manage diaries for allocated fee earners
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Legal Secretary
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Elite billing, and document management
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to apply knowledge and judgement to solve problems and make decisions
  • Experience in delegating to and training junior team members
