Senior Legal Secretary Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join our client's Restructuring team in Birmingham City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Senior Legal Secretarial duties, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment and managing a team of secretaries.

The role offers a hybrid working option and a range of competitive benefits, including 27 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the workflow coordination and offer support to a team of 2/3 secretaries
  • Work closely with the Restructuring partner to deliver high-quality Senior Legal Secretarial duties
  • Manage the file opening process and be the first point of contact for clients and administrative requirements
  • Assist with the preparation of financial transactions and drafting of letters, documents, and forms
  • Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners and create a culture of continuous improvement in the team
Requirements:
  • Extensive relevant experience as a Senior Legal Secretary
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Elite billing, and document management
  • Excellent telephone manner, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to apply knowledge and judgement to solve problems and make decisions
  • Experience of delegating to and training junior team members
