This is a senior-level position within the External Reporting Division of the Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading reports for external stakeholders, including the company's Annual Report and Interim Reports.
Key Responsibilities- Report Writing and Editing: Write and edit material for publication in the company's Annual and Interim Reports, ensuring that content is accurate, clear, and concise.
- Content Review and Verification: Review and verify information related to company operations received from various business lines, ensuring that it is accurate and consistent with company policies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with business lines within the company, management, external design agencies, and print shops to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Priority Management: Manage priorities effectively, working under pressure and within tight deadlines to meet reporting requirements.
- Ad Hoc Requests: Handle other ad hoc requests as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Education: Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, journalism, English, or communications; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a writer, preferably for a company in the Energy industry or with an institutional or commercial publication, corporate publication, or educational publisher.
- Language Skills: Possess a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English, with an eye for detail and accuracy; a good command of business Arabic is desirable but not a requirement.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate extensive experience in writing, editing, and proofreading, with strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
