At SSE Transmission, we're seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Regulation Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in helping us understand the opportunities and barriers to delivering projects, new services, and consumer outcomes.

As a Senior Analyst, you'll work across a range of policy areas, including price controls, industry reform, and wider net zero policy. You'll support senior colleagues in the development and implementation of broader work packages, including the ASTI framework submissions and the enduring regulatory price controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Co-ordination and creation of regulatory policies through research and analysis, advocating for our strategic objectives.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate regulatory projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes, providing support across the business and the SSE Group.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and writing skills to articulate complex issues clearly and accurately.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the GB energy regulatory framework, the energy sector, key stakeholders, and the policy landscape, including political and policy impacts on regulated companies.
