About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Regulation Team at SSEN Transmission. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in helping the wider business understand the opportunities and barriers to delivering projects, new services, and consumer outcomes by translating existing policies and regulations and identifying upcoming reforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Development: Co-ordinate and create regulatory policies through research and analysis, advocating for our strategic objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate regulatory projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes, providing support across the business and the SSE Group.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and writing skills to articulate complex issues clearly and accurately.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the GB energy regulatory framework, the energy sector, key stakeholders, and the policy landscape, including political and policy impacts on regulated companies.
