About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Regulation Team at SSEN Transmission. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us understand the opportunities and barriers to delivering projects, new services, and consumer outcomes by translating existing policies and regulations and identifying upcoming reforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Coordinate and create regulatory policies through research and analysis, advocating for our strategic objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate regulatory projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes, providing support across the business and the SSE Group.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and writing skills to articulate complex issues clearly and accurately.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the GB energy regulatory framework, the energy sector, key stakeholders, and the policy landscape, including political and policy impacts on regulated companies.
