About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Overhead Line team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution practice, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to deliver complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Overhead Line team on project scope, resourcing, technical delivery, and client management.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Represent the company in client meetings and provide technical expertise in bids and proposals.
Requirements
  • Professionally qualified CEng Chartered Engineer with a recognized electrical engineering institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline, electrical engineering or power engineering.
  • Experience delivering projects for transmission system operators, such as National Grid, SSE, and SPT, in line with each operator's standards.
  • Project experience in overhead line engineering up to 400kV.
  • Experience in upgrading work projects, such as the utilization of high-temperature low, low-sag conductors.
