About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cable Engineer to join our Energy Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical transmission and distribution systems for utility companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop transmission and distribution systems for utility companies
  • Apply broad practical knowledge to cable design and produce cable installation designs, including cable routing layouts, trench and trenchless section layouts, cable bonding and phasing, cable pulling, termination, and jointing arrangements
  • Perform cable sizing calculations based on international standards using CYMCAP software
  • Work with the wider energy team to deliver projects and provide coaching and support as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
  • Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and ICE is preferred
  • Experience in the design and development of transmission and distribution systems for utility companies
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
