We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Depute Practice and Wellbeing Leader to join our team at The Action Group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the provision of high-quality community services.

Job Summary

The Depute Practice and Wellbeing Leader will be responsible for supporting the Practice and Wellbeing Leader in providing leadership to a team of Support Workers in Support Services. This includes carrying out line management responsibilities, delegating work according to individual team member strengths, and providing proactive and ongoing coaching and mentoring for each direct report.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Practice and Wellbeing Leader in providing leadership to a team of Support Workers in Support Services.
  2. Carry out line management responsibilities, including objective setting, appraisal, and managing absence and capability issues.
  3. Delegate work according to individual team member strengths, reasonably, transparently, and efficiently.
  4. Provide proactive and ongoing coaching and mentoring for each direct report.
  5. Act up for the Practice and Wellbeing Leader during periods of absence.

Requirements

  • At least one year's experience working with people who have support needs.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, MS Teams, and Excel.
  • Self-development, empowering people, building and maintaining relationships, leadership, analysis and decision-making, planning and organizing, working in partnership, and reporting and recording competencies.
