About the Role

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Patient Leader. As a Patient Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our healthcare services and ensuring that the voices of patients and carers are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside colleagues across the Trust to influence and shape decisions at all levels.
  • Help us build on established relationships between health professionals, patients, carers, and the public.
  • Ensure that the views and needs of patients, carers, and families are represented at all levels of the organisation.
  • Participate in MDT interviews, policy reviews, quality improvement projects, steering/working groups, and other activities as required.
  • Represent the Trust in various forums and meetings, including clinical governance, patient safety partners, transformation projects, and digital improvements.
