About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Patient Leader. As a Patient Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare services at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) interviews, including interviewing consultants and senior nurses
  • Contribute to policy reviews and quality improvement projects
  • Engage with steering/working groups and task and finish groups
  • Support overseas nurse training and ward accreditation initiatives
  • Attend regular meetings, including clinical governance, patient safety partners, and transformation projects
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a good all-round education and experience of healthcare systems as a patient or carer. Desirable skills include evidence of recent appropriate experience, such as customer relations, quality management, or business management.
