The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering specialized care for patients in their hyper-acute, acute, and rehabilitation phases post-stroke. Our 24/7 thrombolysis and stroke assessment service ensures timely and effective treatment for our patients.

We are seeking innovative and compassionate Registered Nurses or Registered Nursing Associates to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Nurse in our Stroke Unit, you will have the opportunity to develop key clinical skills and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients with stroke and other medical conditions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and relatives on sensitive issues.
  • Participate in health education and promotion activities for patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the hospital's vision for stroke care.
