Job Title: Residential Children's Registered Manager

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a passionate and committed individual to fill the role of Residential Children's Registered Manager.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our children's residential service. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations, as well as exceptional leadership and management abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion excellence in delivering high-quality care and outstanding outcomes for young people.
  • Successfully register with Ofsted and ensure continuous compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold and advance safeguarding and child protection practices within the service.
  • Provide strong and effective leadership, fostering a culture of engagement and continuous development among staff.
  • Efficiently manage resources, ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Maintain excellent communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage financial performance to meet and exceed targets.
  • Lead a culture focused on continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Proactively seek and implement innovative solutions to maintain a resilient and sustainable service.
Requirements
  • Legislative knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working within Children's Homes in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Ofsted registration: Current or previous registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (preferred).
  • Leadership skills: Exceptional leadership and management abilities.
  • Qualifications: Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care or Leadership and Management (preferred).
